Zinc alloy samples take 10–15 days from confirmed drawings or CAD files. If a new mold is required, the timeline depends on the complexity of the design.
What is the lead time for mass production?
Typically 20–30 days after sample approval and deposit, depending on order quantity and the complexity of the plating.
Can you produce nickel-free electroplating for the EU market?
Yes. We can supply fully nickel-free electroplating on request. Because it uses a different plating process, it carries an additional cost — tell us your target market and we will quote accordingly.
Can you develop a custom buckle from our design?
Yes. Custom mold development is our core business. Send us a sketch, CAD file or a physical sample, and we will advise on tooling, feasibility and cost. Custom logo engraving and embossing are also available.
What finishes are available, and how long does the colour last?
Standard electroplating covers gold, rose gold, gunmetal, antique brass, matte black and custom Pantone matching, in mirror, brushed/satin or antique finishes — including vintage and western styles. Standard plating is the most cost-effective option; for longer-lasting colour, PVD vacuum coating holds its finish for 5+ years under normal use, at a higher cost.
